It's the norm, and is pretty much free advertising. If poker.se had a hand converter and we could cross post hands on other forums with it, that would amount to a lot of exposure.

Basic hand histories (HH) that are parsed similar to some of the questions i've asked have been the standard on poker forums, and for good reason. having a way to copy a raw HH to a converter and have it produce a readable format would get my vote first. Also, when outflopped.com existed (used the stackexchange system) the guy who ran it tried or did make a HH converter for the site. It might still exist.
